Among its qualities stands out its great ability to fly effortlessly taking advantage of the thermal and orographic currents reaching above 7,000 m.s.n.m. heights
The Andean condor is the national bird of Chile and because of the rapid reduction of its population have been several conservation programs in the various Andean countries. These include the Bio Andean Foundation of Argentina and Chile Andean Condor Project who have made great achievements.
The walk is done by hills from one side to the Maipo Valley, less than 60 kms. from Santiago. An excellent walk for people who enjoy life outdoors and good taste. Suitable for people over 12 years old with normal physical conditions.
